Welcome to the website for the Leahurst Show.

The annual Leahurst Show is organised in aid of the Equine Performance Unit, by kind permission of The University of Liverpool, Faculty of Veterinary Science.

The Leahurst Show takes place at the Philip Leverhulme Equine Hospital, Leahurst, Neston, South Wirral.

New for 2009
- UK Showing Qualifiers (qualifying classes)
- Qualifiers for International Miniature Horse & Pony Society
- Senior Fancy Dress
(It has been heard around the showground that some adults wanted to do fancy dress!! but did not like to as “it is for the kids”, well for all you big kids out there we now have senior fancy dress; so come on let’s have a laugh and enjoy the day.)
Also, we have added some Novelty Dog Classes.

We still have all our regular Dressage and Showing classes, with something for everyone and all levels.

The Show Jumping will be on the Saturday again; this seemed to work very well. We will have a clear round ring for most of the day with a second ring for the competitions.

As we are visitors it is requested that ALL LITTER including PLAIT BANDS is TAKEN HOME, and that in the interest of safety & hygiene DOGS ARE KEPT ON LEADS AT ALL TIMES, and please clear up after them whilst on the show ground. It would be appreciated if competitors and friends keep to the show field only, as the Hospital is still working and emergencies may be coming in.

We hope you will support us in this continued venture as unfortunately most of us take Leahurst for granted and do not realise that they need our help too.

Your support of the vital work of the hospital would be most encouraging and warmly appreciated.

We hope you have a successful and enjoyable day and a safe journey home.
